I have my new Tek T5 fixture up and running in my tank...I noticed that my temperature seems to move up and down between 77-83? is that normal...? seems kinda high? I have a fan on the way but i was just wondering if this can cause any harm to the for or my corals?

Are you talking about a 24 hr flucuation? Do you have a sump? But its not good for corals.

It's undesirable to have it move that much daily but I don't think it will really hurt. It may slow growth as I don't think the corals like it. 2 degree fluctuation is considered good.

Maybe set your heaters a little higher until you can get the fans in there to help take the peak off the top of the daily temperature curve?
