And once again the scape changed and the fish are pissed. haha It's now two islands. I tried to get the nice light for all the corals. I couldn't find away to get every body some light and the right flow, so I had to rearrange everything. It looks ok, so I guess I am going to stick with the two islands. hopefully. ;D
I also broke a little piece of the birdsnest off too, so Now I have three new corals! ::cheesy:
I can't wait to see it grow. I am looking for a nice piece of gsp to cover my pvc in the front left, against the purple rock it will look very nice. I am also looking for a bright white coral to stand out and a blue. Any ideas?

Thank you very much! :cheesy: How long does it normally take for the polyps to come out? The birdsnests' polyps have been out since ten mins in the tank. The scape changed again to get everybody the light and flow needed.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Unfortunately there is no normal for polyp extension. If I do not see PE in about 5 days I start thinking about the placement. Some acropora love getting blasted and some will not show any PE if the flow is too much. That is why your scape is good because you have different options. Different sps have different PE as well, torts and formosa have short tiny polyps and mille has long exaggerated PE.
Also look at night with a flash light.

I tried to pick up the green on the corals, but it doesn't even come close to what color it is in real life with these bulbs. The greens are yellows are amazing! Almost neon.

It's dying off. I had it way worse. I have killed some of it and my berghia nudibranch are still working on it.
