I need to get some test equipment and was looking for suggestions. I believe Salifert is one of the more recommended ones here. What about the electronic testers? I'd rather buy an electronic one once than keep buying the vials...but are they any good?

I have never used an electronic tester before but I know they have to be recalibrated so often. I would rather deal with the vials.

You will still need to purchase calibration solutions for the electronic units and some of the tests are quite expensive....

Hmm. And probably for the cost of ONE of the electronic ones, I could get a WHOLE set of the vial type. Thanks for the help.
