Turbo, I also see that seachem has a reef kit, is this a good and accurate kit to have as well or is there a better option out there.

whats up with that kit anyway? Looks alot more complicated than the ph test that I have.. just put water, 5 drops of stuff and shake. This one has like little dishes and you have to stir it up and add this and that.. does that make it better? or are the results easier to read?

Its pretty easy to read once you get used to it, but yes, it is accurate. Of course, the salifert test kits are really easy to read and to do the tests, but expensive. I have had success with Seachem. I recomend it.

I bought that test when i first started out (+ 10 years ago). Let me just say that i really hope for you that they got better cause it was crap back then. I had readings of zero for several things but my tank was getting worse so i brought a water sample to my LFS to get it tested and let me tell you, my test was way off.

I had a lot of test results compared to tests done in a real lab (my aunt is the lab director at Molson brewery) so i can tell you salifert is the best bang for your buck.
