    the salifert kits say to see what you have left in the seringe and look at the included chart for the correct level but this kit might be diffrent

    that is just way to low IMO

    on the red sea every 0.01 = 20 ppm mg I used 1.00ml of tirant to turn it blue

    gheez these kits are confusing :p ;D

    it should be way higher my level is at 1440 so 200 sounds just way way to low
    naturally its around 1350

    and this is magnesium right?

    I've got the same kit its confusing to use. you have to read whats used not whats left. it will take some time to get use to using this kit but overall it a good kit.

    Does it take the full syringe to reach blue?

    I tested it again and it was a little over .10ml left after it went blue

    The way you read it is you take how much you used and then compare to the chart. Here is the chart:

    If you really only had .1 left, that means you used 90ml and are at 1800 ppm!!! This would be considered high unless you were intentionally increasing mag.

    Dont look at the amount of liquid left in the sryinge. Look where the bottom of the plunger rest. That is your test result.

    Good to know I used mine for the first time today and was a bit confused by them, wasn't sure how blue it should be to be right. Also I guess I was a bit off because I went off liquid line oops. I feel like I was missing instructions lol, are there any besides the cards?
