Probably will be going with a Durso pipe setup.

BRS has a video on how to setup a herbie. I would recommend watching it.

I had a herbie overflow on my 90.
I would def recommend it. Super quiet and no microbubbles at all in the sump. Way better than the durso imo.

You have a single drain on your 65 right? Its a corner overflow right? Could you not drill another hole and run a herbie?

I could of run a herbie but I would have to run the return over the tank. That's what I did on my 90.
The canopy on my 90 was kinda sketchy and almost like a open top so I could hear everything. My 65 is thick wood with only the back open so the sound isn't a issue and my sump takes care of the microbubbles with no problem. I prob shoulda ran a herbie before I filled it but oh well lol

I also don't want to have to run my return line over the top of the tank and my sump is going to have a bubble trap post skimmer section.

I have a 90 see my avatar. I love my tank. Perfect balance. I would like a bigger than my 20 gal sump. And you would prefer yours drilled.

Oh ok, so the RR tank comes with the corner overflow and 2 pre installed bulkheads in the bottom. And instead of running a herbie you just used one for the drain and one for the return? Gotcha. Dude, a single 1 inch drain for a Mag 9.5?????? Thats insane! Does it sound like a turbine engine? lol
