    Boiling water is 212F not 100F and probably won't be enough to flare the end of the PVC pipe. Got to home depot and get a small propane or MAPP gas torch and bottle for like $10 and be done with it.

    I saw the new build thread of yours, was gonna send you an invitation, no needed after all. Anyway, when you have time, equipment list please.

    Looks awesome. I'm still waiting for my skimmer to arrive and for my sandstorm to settle and then its off to the LFS to pickup a clown that I put on hold last week.

    ^ I have been putting it off too long..LOL. Just placed an order on Reefcleaners: 30lbs of rocks. I plan to cure them in a rubber maid container for at least a month with a help of Microbacter7.

    is it dry rock? or live rock?

    They are dry rocks. Thinking to scape outside, glue them, cure them in rubbermaid, and put in the display tank.
