It was likely that you lost those clowns due to ich as others mentioned. One piece of advice to you, dont add anything any more for a long time till the ammonia, nitrite or nitrate becomes undetectable. (did you get your own test kit?)
Unfortunately, it's true that some LFSs tell you anything you want to hear so you'd buy stuff.
Your tang acting up might have something to do with the poor water quality. My sailfin tang never shows any aggressiveness towards anything. He even gets mad when others fight. He's a peace keeper!

Im sorry that everytime I talk about your tank/setup, it's always something negative.. I'm just trying to help, I hope you understand.

I understand completely! Your could be correct ab water quality. pH was the only thing off on my test. I did get my own test kit.

Off topic, I notice your avatar is a Sti. I own a drag s2k and into cars as well. Look on YouTube at s2000 from hell. That's my car/video

How's it going my fellow 90 club? I've been quite on here over the summer, sorry. Just got my hands on a friend's 54gal corner that is now in my fish room with great stock and the primary reason for purchasing it. The 6" maxima blue clam is already in my 90gal.

Over the weekend, I'll been moving some stock and coral around.

Yep another one. Not that I needed another tank, but the price was right.

I'm around. Been super busy job hunting and super broke so the tank hasn't changed in a while.

Do any of you guys have a full led light set up for your 90? Idk if I like my MH/T5 fixture anymore, and I don't know diddly squat about LEDs to do the DIY setups. Any info on this would be really great

Well, Im about to do re-DIY my LED light. Im still using the old fixture from my old 29 gallon. Here is the light build thread and this is my mentor(evolved)'s thread. And it's not 90G but another guy (insanespain) DIYed LED over his 65, but the tank height is 24" so you get pretty good idea.

Edit: I forgot about him! LOL He recently DIYed LED over his 90. Here is the post :p
