And this is what I have been busy with today..

I have bought a small acrylic shelf at Target and split it in half to use it as controller mounts.

    DIY of the day.

I have a few more wires to hang in place but everything is falling in place.

    Whoa, sweet build. Very slick.

When I saw pic of skimmer, I was thinking how in the heck is he gonna squeeze it in his stand.

Once I saw pic of skimmer in sump, only then I realized how compact it actually is. Lol.

    Awesome DIY work.

Haha thanks man, yah the skimmer has a pretty gnarly foot print. And for this stand I made sure I had plenty of space/head room. I love it myself.

The light tree I made myself at Lowes.
Pipe was $2.80 for a 10' piece I believe I also bought a pipe bender $45.00 went out side and bent the pipe to my liking and then returned the pipe bender. -$45.00
    Cost so far $2.80
Went back to Lowes bought 4 bolts with nuts and washers $4.00 to hold light tree onto stand.
Also bought some small gauged wire 4' and some squeezable fittings. $3.00
Then I bought some cool little sleek clips which each clip can hold up to 10lbs. So I believe clips were $2.50 for two so we are at $5.00
    Spray paint $4.00ish

EDIT: I also bought a chair leg rubber for the end of the pipe at the top so you didnt see my ****ty cutting. :p $2.20ish

So in total to make the light tree and hanging fixture came to:
    $21.00 :D

Then the tools needed or what I used was a dremel to cut the pipe also a drill and measuring tape and a marker.

Also if you would like more detailed pics on the tree. I don't have water in it for the next few days so I can pull it out still and snap a few photos for you.
