    Yeah the phone call was part of Ricks break down. The people on the phone were other members of the group that died along the way and the last person he was speaking too was Lori and she told him it was ok.

    I am guessing that Daryl and Merle are going to escape together somehow and head back to the prison. The presence of Merle in the prison will introduce tons of conflict with Rick and with Tyrese and with Daryl for that matter.

    Daryl is much different person now.

    I really got into this show late...like the 2nd from last episode this past season. I've been meaning to Netflix On-Demand the show from the beginning but never have the time.
    I'm looking forward to the premier!
