botie can you say court? lol well i would im a plumber and when i first started i had a leak on a solder joint and the contractor never got a water meter there so it never got tested until we were trimming the house so needless to say the company i worked for got stuck with the bill for the sheetrock... so my point is how long ago was the system installed? maby they will end up buying some carpet!

Karma to Otty for the link, think my parents could use one for their basement!!

And Karma for the misfortune!! At least you had someone to cuss at, I've cussed myself enough to know it feels better doing it to someone else!!!

I would probably have to agree andy!! If it is a newer system I would have to fight, especially since you raised the question as you picked it up!

My water level was dropping about a gallon an hour,I chalked it up to evaporation. Well, about two weeks ago I realized there was a small hole in the hose coming from the tank to the sump. The carpet in behind the tank was soaked. I was pissed as well. I called the company and they shipped me a new hose right away and three filter bags for the sump.

I rememember a time some years ago where the filter on our 55 cichlid tank was clogged and backed out several gallons of water onto the floor, boy was the tenant downstairs pissed...LOL
