Ahhhhhh! I just added a beautiful 3 inch Cowrie to my tank. Woke up this morning to find out that it made itself a late night snack of my Zoos! Anyone else had this problem?

They are scavangers therfore feed upon algae, meaty food stuff not to mention bivalves and corals and other invertebrates. I would take it back unless you don't really care what it eats...they are pretty and interesting but you have to make a decision! Let us know what you ultimately decide to do!

OUT, OUT IT MUST COME OUT! I loved those Zoos. You knoe I have another on that is quite a bit smaller. I haven't noticed any problem with it but maybe it just eats less. I think I'm going to take both of them to the LFS.

One Cowrie can be as different as you and I...you just don't know? You have to keep an eye on it as who know, the one may be an angel as oppossed to the other that ate your zoanthids.

Good choice. Not worth risk of keeping around, even though quite beautiful.

Hopefully your LFS will give you full credit for some other pretty, but benign creature.

Let us know what you come up with.
