Tiny blob infestation?

    hey guys i got a peace of live rock whene i first had my tank had 3 of thes blobs on them well now my tank is 8 months old and they are EVERY WHERE on every rock i got and they crawl on my kenya tree xenia and mushrooms. my kenya and xenia dont mind but my purple mushrooms never look good they are allways shrivled, now the reason i now its the blobs that upset them is becuz my uther purple mushrooms on the sand bed ar happy and have none on them idk what they are maybe you guys cuild tell me what they are and if there bad plz tell me somthing that kills them.here is two pictures of them on my rock and mushrooms and they do move on there own. all the brown dots on the rock are them.

    flatworms,
    i know nothing about them except
    i think the clear ones are ok and the reddish ones are bad (correct me if im wrong)
    it looks like in the first pic has clear ones on the shroom
    but the second picture looks like red ones

    according to some reading your best bet is to siphon tons and tons out
    as much as possible
    then treat with Salifert's Flatworm eXit.

    but from what i read you have to siphon out as much as possible because
    the flat worms dying on a large scale can wipe out a tank

    i now i read that :) i just took a turkey baister hooked it up to a long hose and sucked them off the rock ill do it again tomarrow but i probly puuled out 50 60 of the little buggers

    There's always a lot more than you can see, I'm guessing you barely made a dent in the overall population, not to scare you. :)

    To really get rid of them you have to do what jake said, siphon as many of them out as you can over the course of a few days, then treat with flatworm exit and siphon as many as you can out immediately after treating with flatworm exit, you don't want them decaying in the tank in large numbers because they can release a toxin when they die.

    It can take more than one treatment of flatworm exit as well to really get them all as well from what I've read.
