OK....I have searched all over, but cannot seem to find an answer. We have these tiny little snowflake looking flower things growing all over our lr. Is this a type of algae? Would love to post a pic, but is way too small for my dinosaur of a camera to see. Any ideas? It's kinda pretty, but have no idea if it is harmful or not. It has been there awhile--not really getting bigger, but does seem to be spreading....

no, not a fan worm or feather duster. It does not retract like they do at all, but their little "petals" do move w/ the current.

Does it kind of look like a spider web?

I have something that matches this description growing in my skimmer on the side walls.

I'll try to remember to get a pic of it when I get home tonight.

I don't know what it is though.

I also have these snowflake flowers. They were on the rock with my clove polyps. I have had this rock for over 6 months, the flowers are not hurting anything, I think they are some kind of coral that is not sold, but you just get it as a hitchhiker. They also look like my blue clove polyps but are white and tiny.
