TINY White Critters???

    Ok i got VERY close to my aquarium today and was inspecting it.
    I have noticed all along my back glass there is a bunch of Tiny White(Looks like a curled shell) Specs. These are microscopic and are all spiral.
    Any clue as to what this could be?

    just a guess but maybe sundial snails. It is really tuff to identfy without pics.

    Ok after a CLOSER Inspection these have little ??Feathers,Tentacles?? Coming out the end of the spiral

    Sorry man but my camera would deffinatly not pic these up to take a pic.
    I edited my first post with picture i drew in paint.
    Looks ecaxtly like that with little things sticking out end of spiral

    if it is feather like then probably be ok. But like I said earlier without pic wound't know for sure.

    After typing Spirorbids in a yahoo search i found this picture.
    This is exactly what theyt look like.
    Ok since i have TONS of these do i need to feed them anything? Arnt they filter feeders?
    And how big can i expect these to get?
