    i have a 29gal nano reef and i want to get my coral banded the hell out w/o moving all the rocks and distrubing everything...any1 got tips on how to get him out?

    yea dont grab its pinchers as they are worthless, they break off before you can get it out of the water.

    i would try puting a glass or something long and clear in there with food, when its gets to the end of it take it out.

    Mine used to chase my hand and get on maybe you could be clever and put a piece of shrimp on fishing line close to him and wait with the net... Se how that works

    how would u hook him with a piece of shrimp? i know this might sound assassine but is there any harm for myself if i just grab him?

    trust me you wont be able to grab him. lol... I meant put the shrimp on a string and then when he comes up to it lure him up hire and snatch him with the net

    I would agree. Try to use as big a net as you can comfortably get in there. Even using the net, I managed to break off both pincers. It took two molts to grow back.
