Everything in my tank isnt dead or dieing, what rock work has had the BS on it i have removed to keep it under raps. It just never seems to go away lol. After i have taken them out i let them sit for a few days/weeks then kind on scrub them and place one in at a time, none of the rocks that i have put in have gotten it back on them (maybe a good sign???). Im still not sure yet what im going to do, I love my 90 but i hate the cost of the maintenance.I guess the way i see it is that the 29 will be a lot less costly with salt and what not. I may try and get another T5 fixture and keep my halide (ya never know i may start it back up). Well thanks everyone for the input.

I can understand what you are going through completely. Deciding to stop my 150G was tough. You are right though, the cost of running a big tank is high. It draws a lot of current to run all the pumps, lights, chiller, etc adds up to a big electric bill. That's not counting the water costs etc. I would just make sure that putting all your inhabitants in the 29G won't be overloading that system. Hopefully you have taken care of the BS problem too. :)

I have taken the stock in to consideration, it wouldet overload it at all. I think i will try to keep my 90 gal. going. Im going to start another thread as to what to use for filter media in the sump. Please visit it and let me know what you do for media.
