    does anyone recomend directing the powerhead directly at it or kind of bouncing the flow off the glass

    bounce it off the glass. Directly from the powerhead is way too much flow.

    Laminar flow and one way water movement isn't good and you get a better distribution of flow by banking it off your tank glass anyway IMO!

    thanks guys I went out and got another maxi jet 900 and I already had a 1200 and a small aqua clear 30.

    some corals can be toxic

    HI,
    As a side note some of the softcorals can be toxic when cut, so be careful I would wear gloves, and goggles.
    Hey more than one person messed up his eyes fraging.

    well its been about 2 weeks and my toadstool leather still hast perked up.The polyps are extended but the stalks are not stnading up is this a cause for concern I have been treating with strontium and iodine supplements andhave been feeding with phytoplex should I be worried or does it typically take a while for these guys to get adjusted I have even changed its location in the tank.

    You dont have to feed them.

    How was the stalk when you bought it? What kind of lights do you have?

    they were pretty much standing up striaght when I got them.I am using a 260w odyssea PC
