Hey guys, long time no see. I was just wondering how big can toadstools get? Do they split when they get big? or do i have to do it?

Mine has been growing and growing none stop since I got it. I want to say that it is 2 feet wide and maybe a little less than a feet tall.

This pic is taken almost before the lights turn off, so it is a little smaller than when the day lights are on.

I posted a FTS for comparison.

It's gorgeous!! I LOVE giant toadstools!

And I think that's a common problem with toadstools - they don't like to stop growing ;)

haha, I remember when I got it. It was only the size of a dollar. ::)
i have two huge bags with activated carbon in my refugium just for him. (or her).
I read that the bigger sized ones were females.

They get huge. One of our LFSs has one that wouldn't even fit in our 55 and it hasn't split. It's like 2' x 2' and tall.

LOL! What we tend to think of as huge in our tanks is but a lil' baby in the wild.
