Can you have too much flow for a Yellow Tang? Would 32x turnover be too much?

32 would not be too much. Why do you ask?

+1. 32x is just fine...If he is having problems it is most likely because of other factors...

not nearly to be to much. I have more then that and mine get close to the powerheads all the time with no issues.

Just trying to make him comfortable while he is here. He seemed to be hanging out in the lower flow areas so I was just checking.

I doubt it. I am at about 60x turnover and you can barely tell with my three tangs... My sohal who is a good 10" fish and about 5" tall can swim right in front of a koralia 4 and not even phase him. also swims upstream of to the closed loop nozzles which are powered by a reeflo Dart at 3600gph.

No it will be fine, it will acclimate to the flow in a day or two and be all over the tank.
