I have had my torch coral for 6 months it is doing quite well' and branching off. However, it has been forming bubbles in between the splits. Has anyone seen this happen before? I want to frag it, but dont know if I can cut through the bubble to do so. let me expand the bubble looks like a tenacle that has streched.

If you popped one once and it reformed I see no reason that cutting it would pose any threat to survival. You may want to wait and see though. If thats how it splits maybe your about to get another split.
