Can anyone tell me or give me an Idea on what my torch is doing. It looks to have this brown algae coming out of each of its mouths.

"Brown Jelly" doesn't normally start in the center, but rather at one edge...often the result of damage. That looks like it's either expelling waste or expelling zoox. How long have you had it? Have there been any major changes to the tank (especially to lighting)?

I've had it for about 6 months, I got brand new phoenix 14k 250w SE bulbs on the 27th. Other then that nothing has changed.

I think your right it's expelling waste.

The new bulbs are very likely the issue. They probably have more PAR than the old ones, which has upped the production of zoox. The coral will expel zoox to keep things "in check" if you will.

Mine does that all the time. It's just getting rid of waste :) means it's growing.
