    That is a Dendro(sp) or something like that, let me see if I can get the right spelling

    They are called Dendros, I was pretty close. This is a pic of mine that I got from the beach. You can "double" click on the pic to get a really close up.

    You wouldnt believe me if I told you. How deep? I found it against a sea wall flipping some rocks over, the water wasnt even touching my feet.;) I found it by accident and it was closed up, it wasnt opened like the way you see it in the pic. To be very honest, I took a chance bring it home b/c at the time, I didnt know what it was. I also go there to get Hermit Crabs, Porcelain Crabs, Sally lightfoot's, snails, Sea urchins, Macroalgae and even corals sometimes. I know am forgetting other things. Theres a channal called " Bear's Cut " in Key Biscayne, FL which used to have a cat walk for ppl to fish from. Google it if your interested.

    It is illegal to remove corals from UK coasts they're a protected species here, I'm not sure what the laws are in the US?
