i am listening this is a thread about which trigger would work the best hense the poll. and ive looked through my other posts also and not everyone of them has started the same. another reason i started that other new thread is because some people dont want to look through a whole thread so that limits the input i can get. so istead of hunting people u should mind ur own buisness.

Any of the triggers will be fine in your tank, get whichever one you think you would like best ;) I agree bad idea with the damsels. Expensive meal for the other fish ;) The triggers, eel, and puffer would all eat damsels.

I've had a smaller, 60gal house a niger, picasso and clown at the same time. The clown died as a result of intestinal parasites (i think) but I want to get another one. My niger and picasso are fine together. Another really nice trigger would be a pink tail. One of my favs.

I can see Estee's point. "Which trigger would work the best" is a very open ended question. Long term, all three would require a larger tank to keep your trigger with other tankmates. I say pick which one YOU like best. Start with a very small trigger and build the other inhabitants around that fish. You will have more time to enjoy your fish before you have to trade it in or get a bigger tank, and you will learn first hand how the fish behave as they grow. Even though the three fish in your poll are all triggers, they all behave VERY differently. Only you can decide which one you like best.

    Great info;)
Unfortunately, I love all triggers and I wish I could keep em ALL.
I've had really bad luck with them and internal parasites tho.

They are definitely beautiful fish, but their reputation for being a nasty fish precedes them.

I've got a friend with a 125g that has several triggers, including a blue line trigger in it. He said no way would he put a clown trigger in his tank. Blue lines are mean, but the clown s are so mean he wouldn't risk it.

I would love to have a tank that I could have a clown trigger in, they are stunning.

My friends call clown triggers "hit men". Given enough time they will murder everything in your tank.
