hi there, just noticed your update. from what i have read in these forums and other websites/books, anemones in general shouldn"t be white/ bleached in colour. i did notice yours was, but with that said, other peoples have been white in the past(theres one on this forum i think) and they have lived for years like it. it does depend on what species yours is. as im not to clued up on anemones maybe someone else could shed more light on this?
take mine, its a sebae and its a healthy brown, but it does nearly every other day, shrink in size and expel its waste once done return to its original state.
i have now fed it some silverside which it seemed to like and it does like mysis.!!!! again from what other people have fed theres it can be, shrimp, prawn, squid, cyclops. i did read a message from someone stating that he directly fed his anemone mysis shrimp, by putting it in a syringe and spraying all over the anemone!!!!!!!
forgot to say that although they have a move, i think by far the most important thing is light, as this is actually there food!!!!!!!!!what light set up do you have?? thanks, hope i have helped!!!
