I have decided to add a pair of clowns into my 75 gallon and my LFS only has Percula clowns so that's what I'm gonna get. My question is what are the differences between true percula clowns and ocellaris clowns?

Besides being different fish (not being sarcastic), I would say that the main difference is in coloring. The True Percs have more black in them. I would say go true percs, to me that are the more attractive fish.

I've heard perculas can be slightly (but I believe are still low on the scale compared to others) more aggressive/territorial especially once they get settled in and if they start breeding. Ocellaris are among the tamest of the clowns.

Also percula's are less likely to be tank-raised although those particular ones may be.

Since tank-raised clowns are so plentiful I honestly would try and get them instead of taking more fish from the wild if you can help it. They are more likely to take to captive life better and are better for wild populations (obviously).

true purculas look just like ocellaris when there young the smaller one in my picture is an ocellaris but the larger one is a true percula just starting to show her colors when she gets older there would be alot more black between the white lines

Everyone summed it up well, but here's for the sake of repetition..

True VS False Percula Clownfishes - How Can You Tell Which is Which?

One of my first fish was a "false percula". I had it for about 6 months, and it turned out to be a true percula with a lot of black between the white stripes. Best $8 I ever spent. Ended up selling the percula for $30 when I moved.
