Ok so I got a tunze 3155 and my issue is

When the water drops to sensor picks it up and fills the tank but always trips the secondary float alarm. So it is filling it above what I have set for the level I want..

Confused and trying to figure out what I am doing wrong.

I had the same issue, but i installed an old sensor on the new filter box, so im thinking the issue comes from that. Also if a powerhead is pushing water directly on the float switch it can trigger it and block it.

I bypassed this by adding a small airline tubing circle between the top of the float switch and the float switch itself. Clearly it no longer warns me if im about to flood my tank but seeing as i dont have a sump i dont see how that would be possible

Wife was getting sick if the alarm going off in middle of night so I decided I was going to just disable the alarm with the jumper but then decided to slow the pump flow by dialing it back half way between the medium and nano setting. Sure enough it fills and stops before tripping the secondary alarm.

    So issue resolved.
