Hi I am going to be purchasing 2 Tunze nanostreams "either the 6015,6025 or 6045" and was curious about a couple of things

    1) how do the people that have these pumps like them? "I REFUSE to spend ecotechs crazy prices"

THey will be controlled from a Reefkeeper lite and run off of the wavemaker function of the RKL

Any thoughts on these pumps would be GREATLY appreciated

    Thank you

Great pumps, I have some, but not what your looking for. The 6025 and 6045 are the only ones that can be used on a wavemaker, but they are really designed to be used on the tunze wave controllers. At minimal, I believe that they need a soft wavemaker, but youd need to check on that, I think officially they need to be used on a Tunze controller... The RK is not "soft" on/off, it is all on, or all off...

For what your looking for, I'd stick with the Korallis or Sicces. They are less expensive and will handle a simple on/off type wavemaker better.

Yeah the bigger tunze pumps are super exensive so I may just go with two medium/large koralias since I dont want to spend the cash on the 2055 tunze
