Just picked up 10 turbo snails (chunky ones at that) and wow ...what a creature!

....caught my puffer's attention mighty quick. He seemed to be asking for a wine list as he's checking them out.

    We'll see.

They might look bulky and bulldozer-ish, but IME, those guys respect everything, including the aquascape.

    Before & After turbos

What a difference 10 snails make, wow!

I thought I would post two pics of what a bunch of turbos can accomplish in a little over two weeks.

Before adding 10 turbos to the tank:

The only thing I helped them with was a very light mop-up job just to get rid of some "mowing trails" they left behind.

They are just great house cleaners.

Sssnake, We put 4 turbos in our tank just four days ago and they, along with some help from the ceriths and hermits, have scrubbed the LR, walls and equipment totally clean. What do I feed them now? Does anyone know what works best? e.g. dried seaweed/algae sheets or sinking algae pellets, or what?
