Turbo snail mating????

question... how do turbo snails mate? like say i buy a half dozen.. could they mate in my tank and make more? if so what do the babies look like.. and or eggs(however they do it)????

 

I don't think they would hatch, I have a Lot of nerite eggs, but from what I understand temp and salinity keep them from hatching or something.

 

i have like 20 EXTREMELY small like swirl lookin things in my tank... white... like as small as a pen tip... stuck to the glass... and it's a FOWLR tank so i don't believe they are tube worms or hitch hitckers cuz i have nothing they coulda come in or on... you know...

thoughts??

demonkegman, it sounds like featherdusters to me.
Turbos are broadcast spawners. Usually filtration filters it all out.

 

but the rock has been in my tank for a year now....

 

Doesn't matter how long it's been in there, you'll still be finding stuff years from now!

no they do not... cuz that totally looks like a snail.. these look like they wanna spirl like that but they are to small.. kinda like idk how the heck to explain it... but they are hard to scrap off and they are only in one spot of the tank...

 

That is very small, it was taken on a macro setting. And it's a feather duster, not a snail.
