TV Show Tanked

    I wanted to post a message to see what people thought about what the new TV show Tanked. Below are my lists of "goods" and "bads" about the show.

    Good:
    - They come up with some very out there designs
    - It is bringing visibility to the aquarium hobby which will lead to more people getting into it.
    - Their mechanical and structural knowledge is strong

    Bads:
    - They fill a tank and stock it heavily right away (and use tap water). Leads to people thinking they can just do that when they start out. Granted they probably bring in seeded filter media, but still...
    - They overstock the heck out of some of those tanks.
    - I get the feeling they don't know jack about livestock.

    Anyone else?

    I think the one of the guys on the show said this is a reality show not a fish keeper show, to people asking about cycling once.

    So they know what they are doing but don't really care about how accurately the hobby is portrayed in the show.
