    Hello, the formulas people give are to be used at the most as a rough idea of what to do. Each tank is a world unto itself and should be treated as such. You assess what your coral need as far as flow and go from there. I use a lot more than what a formula would call for because I have all soft coral and a lot of chemical warfare to deal with. Your tank has many creatures that don't require a lot of flow and even prefer less flow, however, if you want to add another Nano Koralia for a dead spot, fine. See how the tank responds. Have fun!

    So if you have a 100G tank you would need 5,000GPH total?

    Hi Callahan - you could have up to 5,000 gph yes , but please refer to UncleJeds contribution on this thread , as he says it depends on what you are keeping really

    You might not need or want that much

    I looked at your tank set up and you could deff put another PH in there. it would be good to run the flow the opposite direction so you dont get a cyclone effect. It looks where your tank is tall and skinny and has just 1 PH your water is spinning in a cyclone instead od spurratic flow. that just my 2 cents.
