under water spider

    I seem to have a spiders web in my tank every morning and there is something hiding in my live rock. I can only see its legs looks like a spider maybe a crab can't tell if it is a crab what is making the web??? also what ever it is is very very small smaller thana a blue legged hermit.

    I'm interested to hear what you find out as I have spiderwebs too. I've never seen any spider looking things though.

    Vermetid Snails probably i have some in my tank and they multiply pretty fast there not supposed to be bad but when i do my new set up i am going to try to eradicate them.

    I would have to say vermented snail and you might be seeing something else in the back.

    some wrasses ( 6 line namely) leave spider webs as well, they weave them around the places they sleep and leave them connected to their bodies if anything touches them they can bolt from their spots

    well after reading about those snail maybe I have a crab in the hole and some of those snails and im just freaking out but he is almost to big for his hole so when he get's bigger and is forced from his hole we will see what he is I will try to get pics of his legs or try to catch him out on the hunt at night....
