    Friend donated a rock to my aquarium and didnt know what it was, there was one on each side of the rock they seem nearly identical.

    Not the best picture, but looks like a flower anemone to me.

    Rhodactis (Hairy Mushroom) - nice to have. Every couple of months you *may* be able to offer it a small peice of fish (I use to use shrimp a lot) and it will eat close up on it. Cool to see, but you need to hold the food at its mouth for a while. You will notice a change in the appearance of the mouth when it's time to be feed - it will become larger and a bit puffy.

    Anyway, that's my guess absent of a better picture.
