    I am thinking of upsizing to a 125 reef ready. What kind of skimmer and lighting. I need input lots of it.

    For the T5HO lighting you will want an 8X39W or 12X39W unit. For the skimmer the best suggestion is get one rated for twice your display tank. Most advertised ratings are for light loads.

    Will the 8x39 do good for keeping sps and monti and low light corals

    Should be fine, just make sure that it is 6 feet wide. 4 bulbs on each side.
