upgrading my biocube light

i have the 29 gal biocube , but am wanting too upgrade the lighting system ,,is my only alternative the kit from nanocustoms ? really didnt want too start messing and taking apart the whole hood ,,any other options ? am thinking of in the future to start with some easy too care for corals ,,

 

You can remove the hood and place a good 4x24w T5HO fixture or a MH fixture over the tank. You could do LED also.

 

I would do a 150 MH and put some sort of clear glass on top or the clear mesh top.

 

wheres a good place too start looking for the T5HO fixture ?that sounds doable
