I swear they are playing Futball(soccer) or have wrestling matches with my freekin packages, fourth time I've ordered from Marine Depot via UPS and every single box looked like it had been through five tornado's and three hurricanes, yet everything inside was untouched... I don't get it. I just got one today with 2 of the H2Ocean buckets of salt, the smaller ones, and wouldn't you know it I try and pick up the package and it rips like a wet piece of tissue paper. I got this thing inside finally and the box appeared to be in the worst shape I've seen in a long time, but everything in it was perfect. I wonder if the guy kicks the packages up to my stoop...? I just don't understand how the box's can look like Latoya Jackson but the contents are in near perfect condition, this is going to boggle my mind...........

I forgot!!!! Another thing I don't understand!?!?!?!? UPS's customer service was insulting to say the least, yet Marine Depot stood behind everything and assured me if anything was damaged they would offer a full refund or send a new item pronto. Anyone else have anything like this happen? I really like MD, fantastic prices, and again customer service was top notch.

I am not suprised. Go ahead and work there. You will see all kinds of good stuff. They dont care about your stuff. They just want you money. Them drivers make like $30 bucks an hour. Supervisors make like 160 grand a year. good luck.

Yes, some of my packages have looked like that---have you ever wondered why there is soooo much packing material---it's to protect the stuff inside!! LOL When I send Xmas presents I double the size of the box and stuff with packing stuff in hopes everything will arrive undamaged.

Just don't ever use DHL. I have a friend that works in a DHL warehouse and says that it's "amazing" what they do to the stuff.

He even mentioned that the boxes that DHL provides have really bad sticky stuff so they pop open a lot, he said they open and stuff falls all over the warehouse floor all the time and they just stuff it back in, throw some tape on (if the package is lucky) and send it on it's way. (and management knows about it)
