^ You can see that problem in my image. But if I'm away for an extended period and/or the dog isn't wandering about, the blinds are less open.

Yes set it back up! The fact i can check the tank myself is enough for me to set it up. Other viewers is just a bonus lol. I keep my blinds shut when im at work and rarely open em when im home so glare doesnt seem to be a problem i dont think.

evolved...in that first pic you posted how far away from the tank was the camera?
i might have to set mine up a little ways away since i dont have anywhere super close to the tank.
    and that dashboard is amazing!

Edit: i mean the first picture on your thread you made.

The thread from 2011 I linked to, correct? That one was about 10 feet away.

For the photos you see in the Apex dashboard, the camera is ~4 feet away.

Hmm... I wonder how a top down view from within the canopy would look? That's about the only way I could un-intrusively set it up I think. Though, this is an idea I've been going back and forth on for a while!

Wow I didn't realize IP cameras were cheap now. I might have to get on this.

    That is cool!

    Nice setup evolved.

Just got home from work and picked up a rock with 4 Green Hairy Mushrooms on it. Turned the stream back on and changed the camera angle. Sorry about the dirty glass and stirred up tank water :)
