    Is there such a thing as getting to much uv steriler. i was looking at two of them i have a 55 gallon tank and one is for up to 53 gallons and the other is for up to 106 gallons does it matter which one i get other than cost of course lol ?

    Most manufacturers grossly overrate their UV's...all the scientific data I've seen on UV's for saltwater applications leads me to believe it would be hard to oversize a "hobby" unit...you would have to step up to a commercial unit and spend some $$$ before you get anything "too big", LOL!
