Does anyone have experience or knowledge about these?
The store I go to has a website, where it's listed as "Reef Safe". But at the store itself, I've got about 50/50 on whether or not it really is.

One guy said it'd have your corals gone in a month or so, the other guy said "It shouldn't be a problem" or something to the like.

So are these guys just hit or miss, like pygmy angels, or is there a definite?

    They seem really cool...

My question is, "Did the employees at the LFS even know that it wasn't a Valentini puffer"?

Yeah, I made sure to note that I was talking about the MIMIC.
It's kind of like everything, where 2 people will give two different answers.

Usually I'll look at liveaquaria, but it doesn't mention if it is or isn't reef safe.

well the person that said it will eat coral ... don't talk to him again
about how reef safe fish are and mimic puffers might eat inverts but not coral ...
