Talked to a LFS owner and suggested this method.

Seaclone skimmer (i know) flow has decreased slowly over the past week or so. pump is dirty.....

What is the proper mixture of water and vinegar, what was your method and what have your results been?

    Thanks in advance..nick

Also I have put in a spray bottle and sprayed it on an overflow box and then rinsed with a hose to remove algae

we usually just soak.. But im sure you could do either way. As long as it gets inside of the pump to brake down the build up..

i think he knows about the vinegar, but wants to know if you should actually run the pumps/powerheads in the process of soaking. Correct me if im wrong.
