    Hey guys,

Im not sure if I can put reviews on the forum, but I just have to get this out.
I just got my vivi-therm heaters in and they work GREAT!! I got two 200 watt ones to heat a 100 gallon tank. The tank was around 75 when I got them, but I wanted the tank at 80, so I set the cool little dial to "80", and put them in the tank. I kind you not, with in 10-15 min my tank was 80, and has not left 80 all day. Plus they are black heaters, so you dont even know they are there. The best heaters Ive had. Im gonna get some for my freshwater tank. It is hard to keep the discus happy with the heater always going from 78 at night to 84 in the day, lol. If your thinking of a heater look no further!! Happy reefing,

    Michael

    Michael,

You can see your excitement in all of your posts. The Visi-Therm heaters are great. I had one myself then moved to a titanium heater. All I wanted to add is about your FW tank. Discus are fickle fish. You may want to increase your air flow over your tank. In lieu of my chiller during the winter I run a few extra fans. Yes, this causes water to evaporate. I just setup a top off system from aquahub and everything works great. My temp never deviates from 77.6 degrees.

Discus are alitle "fickle", but ive had them for a few years, so im not to worried. But the heaters I have in there are just not keeping the temp up high were they like it. I am posting alot, but I dont get alot of time to do it, so mite as well just have at it, lol.

I was actually just about to post a thread on heaters, I will look into the one you speak of. My heater is great...can't remember the brand but my temp stays at 80 during the day and 79 at night. My concern is that I can see a little condensation inside the heater glass so I started to become worried..is this normal?
