Any one have any thoughts on this species. I just picked up a juvenile and I know it will eventually out grow my 120 but I saw a juvenile and a adult right next to each other and just had to get it. They are really nice looking. I am acclimating him now.

I had one come in my 55 when I got it but I gave it to a friend to babysit. It was huge but not a whole lot of color as an adult. How do the juveniles look?

Actinic shots and the adult I saw was about a foot and a half and plenty of cool blue spots on him. Great color.

Mines about 12". Really pretty fish. Got him in my 210. Love when he flares out his fins for the cleaner wrasse. The wrasse practically swims in his gills cleaning him up!
    Cool fish. Good luck.

we also just bought a young one not too long ago. they are gorgeous fish! my gf wanted one for like four or five months before we finally got the little thing for her. but we've found that ours is extremely timid and doesnt like to be bothered by people looking at her through the glass...she hides a lot have you found that with yours also? maybe it's just ours but i have an idea that they may all be that reserved.

Mine follows me where ever I am at looking at the tank getting in the way of my view. LOL Maybe I am a lucky one with the specimen I got but its not timid at all.
