    Thats my fish "Liono" he has easily grown to at least 4X his orginal size in 5 months

    he was maybe 2" when i got him...and he has got to be pushing 8" now if not bigger

    But the good thing about Lions is that they really don't move around that much so they arent really uncomfortable if they get big...Liono has a spot on the rock that he sits for probably 22hrs out of the day...the only time he really moves is if he sees food coming, and maybe to swim around just a little bit...

    ok so it might work. someone told me they are out and about more than other lions. is this true. he will prob be the only thing in the 55 gal (with the exceptions of mangroves and various starfish (serpent, sand sifter) and mangroves.

    I would think he would be ok honestly...just make sure u have a large skimmer to keep his water super clean...my lion doesnt move hardly at all..but I have only ever had Liono..so I cant really compare him to any other Lion :) They are beautiful Predators, i'd say go for it..

    my parents dont really like the idea of one fish in a tank. but its my tank so the final decision is mine. what kind of skimmer would you reccomend? remora or bak pak? or something larger
