volitan growth?

I have had some big and mean stars in this tank. There is nothing that will mess with the lion! I mean nothing! I have been stung by the lion and I dont blame them I wont either!

 

and he'll eat the detritus? is so then ill get him and a sand sifter star. then maybe some snails. and lots of macro algae. i already have chaeto, gracilaria, halimeda, and mangroves, i may get something else...

 

Yes they will eat anything really... here is a pic of my muscle man hermit lol he is easily 2" wide

 

Mantis shrimp will mess with lions twice their size... and win. ;D

 

Well within reason. Most dont keep mantis with any fish they care about so I dont think you would see a mantis/lion tank though.
