Vortech Question

I just got a Vortech MP-10 and It Seems like its constant on I have it set to EcoSmart TSM and is sound and looks like its the same speed. If I change it to a pulse mode you can hear the pump go fast and slow down and see to waves. Does any one have a Vortech? What mode do you use?

 

Got mine in lagoon for now, but I'm just a fowlr waiting a bit longer for corals. I just installed it tonight though so I'm new to it too. Do a search for another thread I recently saw asking the same thing. It had alot if responses already. Searches always help.

YouTube was a great help for me too. Read the instructions as well; they always help.

 

EcoSmart modes are meant for more than one pump. TSM runs first pump at almost constant level throughout the day. It's second pump that does more oscillation.

You'll have better luck with NTS mode, but for one pump yellow modes are really the best (lagoon/reef crest).

 

I run reef crest upto 100% in my 29 biocube

 

100% works fine on mine in my 30" wide 29g. Doesn't disturb my sandbed at all and really gets things moving. Abso. loving this pump! Worth every penny.

 

I am loving mine I am running it on the 4the LED for my 14g Biocube I was running 2 Koralia nano 240s
