Nicely put, Ivan. I personally hate the non-classy moments. When I was at Auburn way back when (we won't say specifically when), I spent time at almost every single SEC school during away games. Saw lots of non-classy player moment and non-classy fans. One of the biggest jerks I had to deal with this year was sitting right behind me at the Auburn-Arkansas game! I wanted to punch the guy, and he was an Auburn fan!!!!

 

I just have nightmares about going to Auburn for the WVU game last year...everyt other word the Auburn person said to me was WAR EAGLE...so annoying...

 

However, I would take that over the drunken ***** here that curse at the elderly and children. not to mention the idiots in the student section that flick their cigs over the railing. Almost got in to so many fights because of them.

If only there was a rule for class. Unsportsmanlike conduct doesn't cover enough. Such as when Vicks brother or cousin or something like that gave us the finger.

 

I wish I would have known you were at that game! I would have liked to meet the famous "mom" haha

I'll admit that I hate how much it gets said. When I call an office on campus and they answer "war eagle" it makes me cringe.

 

That would have been fun! We actually got tickets at the last minute - my husband works with a lady whose husband used to be a backup QB for Auburn in the '80s. They couldn't go and she called my husband - we had about 30 seconds to decide - of course, I said LET'S GO! Great seats, too - I guess being a former player has its perks - 30 yard line, lower level. The campus has changed so much! We did get to go in the new arena - pretty impressive! Toomer's Corner still looked basically the same. J&M looked EXACTLY the same! Trey Johnston actually waited on me at J&M - my dad went to school with Trey & Skip's dad (Skip was the punter when I was there). I'll be sure and let you know the next time we make a game. I'd love to go to Atlanta this weekend (and better yet, Glendale)!

 

That's awesome! I wish I was going to Atlanta too. Take that back...I wish I would have been selected for a ticket so I could sell it lol
