I just tested my tank and it seems to be on the very end of the cycle. Amm-0 Nitrite-0 I don't have a nitrate test kit yet i should be getting one either later tonight or tomorrow. Just wondering if I should do a water change now since the cycle seems to be over, or should I wait? maybe wait till i get my nitrate test kit? Thanks for the help.

id wait until you got the nitrate test. nitrates are the last of the levels to go down.

Make sure you have nitrates present so that you know the cycle is indeed complete. Then I would do a 10% water change to replenish trace elements. Happy Reefing

I don't see anything wrong with changing the water, but I don't see any benefit either.

If you feel like it - go for it. But remember, the point of a water change is to be a band-aid to complete waste export and/or as a means of replenishing elements (including trace). With your params what they are and not having any coral (I assume you do not have any stony coral) I don't see that you are accomplishing either of those goals.

    I wouldn't mess with it...
