    I did my first water change today! My tank is 10 weeks old, and 40 gallons of water. I changed out 10 gallons (25%). I am going to change 25% every Monday from now on!

    Also, my ammonia & nitrates have been at zero since I started the tank! If it went through a cycle, it was a very quick one between the couple days that I didn't test my water. I started with 55lbs of LR & 35lbs of LS from a very well established system.

    Lately, I have been changing 20-30% weekly to get my nitrates down. Started at 100ppm two weeks ago, now 20ppm. Going to do another tonight with rodi h20, then weekly until zero. Then I plan on 30% every two weeks..

    15 to 20 % every 7 to 9 months. Or I do more small additions when I have my Q-tank running because I pull out of the display every week and fill back up with fresh SW.
