I would say the gobies. My tank looks like this for about 2 hours in the morning and the same at night. My Leopard Wrasse likes to cause a ruckus.

I don't want it to be the gobies :p. No pistol shrimp and I agree with you that does make sense. I have my returns going through filter socks, followed by sponge followed by skimmer followed by another sponge then returns to tank.

I actually do have 2 power heads on each side blowing from the column outwards to the glass, I will try to move them.

That is a great idea, I will give that a shot midday when I have the most of those particles floating around.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
    So sorry. :p

Any who, Engineers are not gobies, even though it says they are. You're little buddy is going to be very big and not too pretty.

Once he gets larger and burrows under your scape you will not be so fond of him, so it's a win win. :-/

;D So far he is in my good books, but I will keep a close eye on him. I have to apologize for my ignorance it seems that it is probably a combination of power heads/gobies. Now that I think about it the particles are not present throughout the whole day only when those guys are active.

Thanks for all the help everyone!:cheesy:
